Ford,Lincoln,Mercury keys not working-PCM software 1998-2002

Many older Ford, Lincoln, Mercury vehicles used PCM software for their keys. On these types of vehicles when all keys are lost, you might not be able to add new keys to the vehicle's computer. If you attempt to do so, and he PCM relay is bad, it will not allow you to complete the programming of new keys into the cars computer. The theft light will come on and stay solid on the dash, or instrument cluster.

Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep Fobik stopped working 2009 and up

Toyota keys 1998-2005 Many models

Many models of older Toyota vehicles will not allow for additional keys to be added, or replacement keys to be added when all keys are lost, without having the computer re-flashed. Don't wait until you lose your last key, get a duplicate key made today.

Honda Lost keys 1998-2001, All models

Many Honda vehicles came with either a transponder key, or had this as an option. Check with your local dealer to see if your model car came with a transponder chip in the key.  On Honda vehicles from 1998-2001, the computer will need to be re-flashed in order to add new keys to the vehicles computer. Honda Ignition Lock Replacement 2003 and Up All Models

When purchasing a new Honda ignition lock, the lock housing, ECM box, anti-theft ring and lock cylinder all come as one assembly. You will need to save the black theft ring and ECM box from the old ignition lock assembly that came off of your vehicle. If you swap these parts out for new ones, the new keys which came with the new lock assembly, will not program to the vehicles computer. Honda Ignition Lock Problems-Keys won't turn the ignition lock to on

Honda ignition locks frequently seem to stop working. Read the follwoing to see if this is the issue you are having and how to fix the problem:
Either you can put the key all the way in the ignition lock, but it will not turn or you can only insert the key halfway, and not all the way.

Problem 1-You can insert the key all the way, but it will not turn.
Solution-Have a new key by code cut to see if it solves the problem, or replace the ignition lock.
